Participation of TNMU in “STEMmotion + MED: Science That Moves the World”

On November 11, 2025 Lesya Ukrainka Medical Lyceum No. 15 hosted a significant event — the Day of Science and Practice “STEMmotion + MED: Science That Moves the World.”

The event brought together teachers and students of the school, as well as professors and students from partner higher education institutions: I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, V. Hnatiuk Ternopil National Pedagogical University, I. Pulyui Ternopil National Technical University, and West Ukrainian National University.

During the official opening ceremony, the attendees were welcomed by Head of the Department of Education and Science of the Ternopil City Council, Olha Pokhyliak, Acting Rector of TNMU, Mykhailo Korda, Rector of TNPU, Bohdan Buyak, Ukrainian medical scientist, philanthropist, and public figure, founder of the Professor Khmil Medical Center, Stefan Khmil, Dean of the Faculty of Law of WUNU, Valentyna Sloma, and Director of the institution, Oksana Mazurenok.

In addition to their warm words and greetings, the guests presented the school with essential equipment for chemistry and biology laboratories, as well as certificates and personal scholarships.

School principals of the city and their deputies participated in six scientific and research locations where science, medicine, technology, and creativity came together to build the future:

“Science That Heals” (medical location),

“Science of Life” (chemistry, biology, and biotechnology location),

“The More Languages You Know, the More of a Person You Are” (foreign languages and geography location),

“Numbers Are the Foundation of Everything” (mathematics, informatics, and engineering location),

“A Person Defending the State” (history and law location),

“Harmony of Body and Soul” (physical education, physics, anatomy, and art location).

The event reunited educators and researchers, underscoring the vital importance of science in today’s world.
