TNMU Signed a Tripartite Memorandum of Cooperation
A tripartite memorandum of cooperation between I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, the Ternopil Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Military Medical Institute – State Research Institute in Warsaw (Poland) signed the agreement on November 12, 2025. This significant event marks a new stage in strengthening international relations and advancing medical science.

The document states that the primary goal is to unite efforts in the field of healthcare, promote the development of scientific research, exchange experiences, and implement modern laboratory technologies to enhance the effectiveness of infectious disease prevention and diagnosis.

The three parties will consolidate their scientific expertise to undertake joint research and educational initiatives. During the signing, Rector of TNMU Mykhailo Korda and General Director of the Ternopil Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention Oksana Chaichuk agreed to develop and implement joint research programs, projects, and applied scientific developments aimed at improving epidemiological safety. The discussion also covered the organization of joint scientific and practical conferences, seminars, and training sessions to promote scientific and technological progress, as well as knowledge exchange and dissemination.

Oksana Chaichuk emphasized that the memorandum will enable the implementation of international standards in laboratory diagnostics and epidemiological surveillance more quickly and effectively.
Mykhailo Korda emphasized that cooperation with European partners will enable TNMU researchers to participate in international studies, gain practical experience, and expand scientific collaborations—a crucial step toward integrating Ukrainian medical science into the global research community.
