Meeting of the TNMU Rector with Representatives of the Student Parliament

On March 18, 2026, the Rector of Ternopil National Medical University, Professor Petro Lykhatskyi, met with representatives of the Student Parliament to discuss current issues important to the university’s student community. Representatives of the university administration from all key areas were also present at the meeting.

The meeting was opened by the Head of the student self-government body, Oleksandr Mihenko.

Sofiia Berehuliak presented proposals for improving the educational process. She requested the introduction of an alternative format for making up missed classes.

The Head of the Information Sector, Sofiia Zborovska, highlighted the need to improve the technical support of her unit.

The person responsible for the dormitory sector, Vitalii Kvapysh, conveyed students’ requests regarding improvements to living conditions. These included replacing mattresses, repairing desks, purchasing volleyballs, and installing additional benches in the area between Dormitories No. 1 and No. 2.

Representatives of the international students’ sector raised the issue of creating more opportunities to prepare for the “Krok 2” exam.

On behalf of graduating students, Ivan Bevziuk addressed the university administration, requesting more detailed guidance on taking the OSCE exam using AI-based tools.

Rector Petro Lykhatskyi stated that all the issues raised would be taken into consideration and further reviewed to determine possible solutions.
