TNMU Basketball Team Wins Silver in the “Plich-o-Plich” League

On April 2, 2026, the second stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Basketball League “Plich-o-Plich” among higher education institutions took place in the sports hall of West Ukrainian National University.

The team of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University demonstrated high skill, strong team spirit, and determination to win, earning an honorable second place among the leading universities of the city.

The TNMU team included: Danylo Baldiuk (SS-101), Artur Samuilyk (SS-208), Illia Otinov (SS-204), Oleksandr Ostrivnyi (MT-402), Oleksii Krupetskyi (SS-105), Illia Rukhliada (KP-101M), Artem Lokai (TR-106), and Vladyslav Baranov (SS-110).

Ilya Otinov and Oleksandr Ostrivnyi were recognized as the best players of the team. The team representatives at the competition were Viktor Nazaruk and Hryhorii Pytliar.

We express our boundless gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for making it possible to hold such tournaments.
