The TNMU Community Deeply Mourns the Passing of Borys Zimenkovskyi

The staff of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University expresses its deepest condolences on the passing of Borys Zimenkovskyi — long-serving Rector of Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University, a renowned scholar in pharmaceutical, organic, and bioorganic chemistry, Honored Worker of Higher Education of Ukraine, and Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.

The life of Borys Zimenkovskyi was a true example of tireless service to science, pharmacy, and society. His fundamental research and scientific contributions laid the foundation for the development of new medicines that save lives.

Under his leadership, the higher education institution preserved its distinguished historical traditions and became a leading university at the forefront of modern medical education. For colleagues and students, he will always remain a model of integrity, интелlect, and generosity of spirit.

The passing of Borys Zimenkovskyi is an irreparable loss for the entire medical and pharmaceutical community of Ukraine. His name will forever be inscribed in the history of modern healthcare in Ukraine.
