Ten TNMU Academic Journals are Included in Ukraine’s Category B List of Scholarly Publications

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has published the updated List of Ukrainian Scholarly Professional Publications (Category B). The list includes 1,298 academic journals that meet the established requirements regarding quality standards, transparency of editorial policies, peer-review procedures, open access, publication ethics, and academic integrity.

Ten scholarly journals founded by I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University have successfully retained their Category B status, demonstrating responsible editorial practices, high-quality and transparent peer review, data reliability, compliance of journal content with the declared specialties, adherence to open-access policies, academic integrity standards, principles governing the use of artificial intelligence, and high-quality metadata.

TNMU’s scientific periodicals have been included in the List within three academic clusters for a three-year period, from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2029.

The following TNMU journals were included in the List:

  • Pharmaceutical Review, Specialty I8, Cluster Chemistry, Chemical Technologies, and Pharmacy;
  • International Journal of Medicine and Medical Research, Specialties I2, E1, Cluster Biology, Biotechnology, Medicine, and Rehabilitation;
  • Bulletin of Medical and Biological Research, Specialties I2, I5, E1, Cluster Biology, Biotechnology, Medicine, and Rehabilitation;
  • Clinical Dentistry, Specialty I1, Cluster Biology, Biotechnology, Medicine, and Rehabilitation;
  • Achievements of Clinical and Experimental Medicine, Specialties I2, E1, Cluster Biology, Biotechnology, Medicine, and Rehabilitation;
  • Medical and Clinical Chemistry, Specialties I2, E1, Cluster Biology, Biotechnology, Medicine, and Rehabilitation;
  • Hospital Surgery. Journal Named after L. Ya. Kovalchuk, Specialty I2, Cluster Biology, Biotechnology, Medicine, and Rehabilitation;
  • Infectious Diseases, Specialty I2, Cluster Biology, Biotechnology, Medicine, and Rehabilitation;
  • Bulletin of Social Hygiene and Health Care Organization of Ukraine, Specialties I2, I9, Cluster Biology, Biotechnology, Medicine, and Rehabilitation;
  • Medical Education, Specialties A5, A6, Cluster Human Capital Development, Social Sciences, and Journalism.

We invite researchers in the fields of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, biology and biochemistry, public health, vocational education, and special education to submit the results of their research for publication in TNMU’s scholarly journals.
