Otolaryngology Symposium Opens in Ternopil

On August 7, 2026, the “Ternopil Otolaryngology Symposium: Innovation and Experience” officially commenced in Ternopil. This major two-day event has brought together leading specialists in the field to discuss current challenges, modern approaches, and practical clinical experience in otolaryngology.

During the opening ceremony, participants were welcomed by Roman Svystun, Deputy Head of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration, who emphasized the importance of advancing healthcare in the face of today’s challenges. Olha Yarmolenko, Director of the Healthcare Department of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration, expressed her gratitude to the medical community for its dedication and wished the participants fruitful learning and new professional achievements. Greetings were also delivered by Serhii Nadal, Mayor of Ternopil.

On behalf of the Rector of Ternopil National Medical University, Oleksandra Oleshchuk, Vice-Rector for Research, addressed the conference participants.

“I wish all participants inspiration, productive work, new professional discoveries, and unwavering faith in our shared mission. I sincerely thank the medical community for its dedication and daily commitment,” Oleksandra Oleshchuk said.

The symposium program covers key areas of contemporary otolaryngology, including endoscopic rhinosurgery and rhinoplasty, otology, and phoniatrics.

Over the next two days, participants will take part in a comprehensive scientific program featuring presentations by leading experts, clinical case discussions, professional networking, and the exploration of practical solutions for everyday clinical practice.
