Enrollment of State-Funded Applicants at TNMU
The ceremonial meeting of the Admissions Committee of Ternopil National Medical University took place on August 12, 2026, with the aim of enrolling this year’s applicants in state-funded and tuition-based study programs.

The Chair of the Admissions Committee and Rector of TNMU, Professor Petro Lykhatskyi, proposed enrolling 313 students in the first year of the Medicine program under state-funded places, 10 students in Dentistry, 8 in Pharmacy, 34 in Paramedic, 31 combat medics in the Paramedic program, 8 in Nursing, and 93 in Therapy and Rehabilitation.

TNMU applicants received recommendations for all 525 state-funded places, while the actual fulfillment of the state order reached 95%. This is the university’s best result in recent years and demonstrates that applicants have made a conscious choice in favor of TNMU. Thus, 498 applicants took the opportunity to obtain a high-quality medical education at TNMU at the expense of the state budget.

On the same day, students were also enrolled in tuition-based programs for the first and second years of study. These included Medicine – 33 students, Dentistry – 154, Pharmacy – 23, Paramedic – 8, Nursing – 49, Clinical Psychology – 45, Nutrition Science – 15, Biology – 7, and Applied Linguistics – 3 students. In total, 341 applicants chose tuition-based study.

As a result, the TNMU student community has welcomed 839 new students.
The Admissions Committee reminds applicants that the submission of documents for tuition-based study will continue until August 20, 2025.
Applications for Master’s degree programs are also still being accepted until August 22.
