The medical staff provided detailed explanations of surgical procedures, highlighted the specific aspects of patient care, and gave comprehensive answers to the students’ questions. Particularly valuable was the friendly and professional attitude toward the interns, who were regarded not merely as observers but as active participants in the educational process. The physicians were eager to share their knowledge and practical experience, contributing to the students’ professional development.

The students also had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the basic principles of working with laparoscopic equipment, including the main stages of its preparation and use during surgical procedures. In addition, they acquired basic skills in operating ultrasound equipment, learned about the principles of ultrasound examinations and the specifics of interpreting the results obtained. The students also became acquainted with other modern medical equipment, its applications, and its practical significance in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

In the final days of the internship, the students met with representatives of the hospital administration and the International Communications Department, including Adam Raczynski. During the meeting, they expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to undertake the internship, presented symbolic gifts as a token of appreciation, and received certificates confirming completion of their clinical internship at the University Clinical Hospital in Białystok.

Andrii Khomyn and Yaryna Turchyn express their sincere gratitude to the administration and the Department of Clinical Training at TNMU for providing the opportunity to undertake the internship, organizing the educational and practical placement, and supporting the professional development of students.
