Cooperation in Emergency Medicine
Representatives of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University (TNMU) held a working meeting with Denys Dekhnik, Project Coordinator of the German non-profit organisation Arbeitsgemeinschaft Notfallmedizin Fürth e. V. (AGNF). The initiatives are being implemented with the support of the German government organisation GIZ.

The meeting was attended by TNMU Rector Petro Lykhatskyi, Arsen Hudyma, Head of the Department of Emergency and Simulation Medicine, and Iryna Yavorska, Associate Professor of the Department of Higher Nursing Education, Patient Care and Clinical Immunology.

The participants discussed the possibility of TNMU taking part in AGNF projects aimed at improving the emergency medical care system in Ukraine.

Particular interest was focused on the potential for developing blood donation initiatives in the Ternopil region and expanding this activity to other regions of Ukraine.

AGNF is one of the leading providers of medical education in Germany, specialising in professional training, continuing professional development, and the implementation of innovative standards for healthcare professionals and rescue personnel. Cooperation with TNMU opens up new opportunities for integrating advanced international experience into Ukraine’s healthcare system.
