A word from Amanda Crowfoot on EUA in 2020

Celebration of the Ukrainian Unity Day at TNMU

Scientific Studio of the Local History Studies “Terpoliany” together with the students of TNMU Medical Faculty joined the celebration of the Ukrainian Unity Day. The presenter of the concert Solomia Muzychenko (first year medical student) congratulated the guests of the event and opened it with our most popular song “Oi u luzi chervona kalyna”, which was beautifully performed by Natalia Mamchur. TNMU Associate Professor participated in an International Hypertension Guidelines Implementation Workshop

On January 20-21, 2020, the headquarters of the European Society of Cardiologists hosted a workshop on the implementation of guidelines on the management of hypertension. The event took place in the Heart House, located in Sophia Antipolis, a technology park northwest of Antibes and southwest of Nice (France) in the Valbonne commune and was organized by the European Association of Cardiologists andthe ESC Council on Hypertension. BARI Mobility Programme

BARI Mobility Programme is directed to three fields: Life Sciences, Photon/Neutron Science and Welfare State. The fields are not defined more exactly, so they can be interpreted broadly. The idea of the mobility tool is, that Doctoral candidates offer internship positions in their research projects for Bachelor/Master Students in the Baltic Sea Region. On January 10-14, 2020, Assistant of the Department of Clinical Immunology, Allergology and General Patient Care of the Institute of Nursing Olha Krekhovska-Lepiavko visited New York (USA) to expand international cooperation, deliver lectures, take semester and final examinations for foreign students of Bachelor of Nursing and Master of Nursing Programs. TNMU ranks first among Ternopil region universities in the consolidated ranking of higher educational institutions

Recently, the educational resource “Osvita.ua” published a consolidated ranking of higher educational institutions of Ukraine for 2019. I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University ranks first among the higher educational establishments of Ternopil region and thirtieth among the 240 higher educational establishments of Ukraine, having improved its indicators in comparison with last year by 4 positions. TNMU scientists received access to full-text resources of Springer Link portal

Ukrainian state and municipal universities and research institutions that previously obtained access to Scopus and / or Web of Science through the State Science and Technology Library of Ukraine have automatically been granted free access to the full-text resources of Springer Link, such as Springer journals (1997 -2020) and Springer eBooks 2017. The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine provided the subscription for the state budget through the State Science and Technology Library. Connection started on January 3, 2020. TNMU Physical Therapy Laboratory

Ternopil National Medical University is a participant of the European Union Erasmus + Program “Innovative Rehabilitation Education – Introduction to New Master Degree Programs in Ukraine 2018-2021”. Recently, thanks to the implementation of this project, the first stage of the establishment of the laboratory of physical therapy at the department of medical rehabilitation took place. Christmas caroling from Nove Selo community for TNMU team

On January 9, 2020, a delegation from Nove Selo community (consisting of Nove Selo, Hnylytsi and Lysychyntsi) together with its head Ilko Stakhurskyi visited I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University. The guests arrived to greet the administration and staff of the University on New Year and Christmas holidays. The funds raised at the Vienna Ball have been donated to charity

At the end of November 2019, students of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University became the initiators and organizers of the Vienna Ball in Ternopil. The organizing committee included Yaryna Stepaniuk, Anastasia Boiko, Tetiana Stepaniuk, Yulia Valihura, Yana Chaika, Natalia and Maria Kasian. During this event, our students raised almost 50,000 hryvnias.   “We donated 34,000 to the treatment of 18-year-old Oleh Halas from Ternopil, who has Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
