The initiative of TNMU foreign students is to help the hospitals of Ternopil region

Foreign students of TNMU encourage anyone studying from other countries at the medical university and for whom Ternopil became their hometown, to unite and support Ukraine and Ternopil in the fight against the coronavirus. To this end, they raise money to buy medical supplies to protect doctors, disinfectants, and others in need of hospitals. For the first time in Ternopil TNMU students from India organized a cultural event for freshmen

On March 7, 2020, an event for all first-year students from India studying at Ternopil National Medical University took place at Taras Shevchenko Ternopil Academic Ukrainian Drama Theatre. This initiative was implemented for the first time and has become very successful. The event consisted of a beauty contest amongst Indian 1st and 2nd year students and a large concert program. Coronavirus: Real Threat or Panic?

The most concerning world issue, i.e. the spread of danger, threats, preventive measures, reaction of children and parents at the first signs of viral diseases, was discussed by TNMU students with the pupils of Ternopil Classical Gymnasium. TNMU hosted International Medical Quiz

On March 5, 2020, the first International Medical Quiz was hosted at the Main Hall of TNMU. This event was organized by the International Sector of TNMU Students Parliament with the aim of bringing students from various nationalities together to compete in a friendly environment to demonstrate their academic prowess. To improve the diagnosis and treatment of rare diseases in children, Ternopil Regional Children Clinical Hospital, All-Ukrainian Association of Pediatric Immunology, in conjunction with TNMU Department of Children’s Diseases with Pediatric Surgery, held a clinical conference on “3rd Day of Alertness of Kawasaki disease”. Recently, a selection of research and developments for 2020, funded by the state budget, was held among institutions which are under the guidance of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. I.
