Students of TNMU Shared Their Knowledge about Maintaining Good Eyesight with Ternopil Schoolchildren

On April 15, 2024, students of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, Viktoria Hural (MM-115) and Sofia Kozlovets (MM-115) gave a lecture for the seventh-grade students of Ternopil Law Lyceum Nº2 on the topic “Take care of your eyes. The impact of gadgets on vision”.

Students told the lyceum students about the importance of eye care and the effects of using gadgets on vision. It was explained how long-term use of gadgets can affect the visual system, causing eye strain, dryness, sleep disorders and other problems. In addition, they were told about the importance of regular breaks in the use of gadgets to rest the eyes.

The lesson also included practical activities, such as a demonstration of exercises to relax the eyes, a story about the benefits of proper lighting when working with screens, as well as advice on the balanced use of time in front of gadgets and regular breaks for glasses.
