The Head of the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology Participated in the Event of the Centre for Psychosomatic Medicine
he Head of the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology, Professor Olena Venger took part in the event regarding the program of the Centre for Psychosomatic Medicine. It took place within the framework of the USAID project “Building a Sustainable Public Health System”.

The event was also joined by Olha Yarmolenko, the Director of the Health Care Department of the Ternopil Regional Administration and Lesia Kosovska, Medical Director of Psychiatry at the Ternopil Regional Clinical Psychoneurological Hospital.


The meeting was attended by representatives of the Centre for Psychosomatic Medicine (The Centre for Mind-Body Medicine) of the USA, headed by the founder, a psychiatrist by profession, Professor James S. Gordon.
The centre (CMBM, USA) implements an effective program for healing psychological trauma among the population of Ukraine. In 8 regions of Ukraine, representatives of the program will conduct comprehensive training on their innovative project of self-care, mutual assistance and community building for community residents.
