Students of TSMU Measured Blood Glucose Level and Took Blood Pressure for Ternopil Citizens

On November 14the students of I.Horbachevsky Ternopil State Medical University on the occasion of the Day of fight against diabetes held an event “Let’s join the fight against diabetes” in the Podoliany SEC. During this event everyone could measure their blood glucose level and take blood pressure. The young people also advised on healthy lifestyle and interviewed people.

More than 50 2^nd-6^th year medical students took part in this event.

The volunteers of Ternopil Society “Red Cross” helped the participants. They interviewed Ternopil citizens on their awareness of those in osteoporosis and diabetes risk group. Volunteers also taught everyone physical exercises in cases of low-back pain, osteoporosis and how to be sound of body and mind.
