TNMU Honors Fallen Heroes

On the occasion of Heroes’ Day, May 23, 2025, a moment of silence and a memorial service were held at the administrative building of Ternopil National Medical University to honor all those who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of Ukraine.

Students and faculty gathered to pay tribute through a joint prayer for all who sacrificed their lives for Ukraine’s independence.

TNMU chaplain Father Ihor Drapak led a memorial liturgy, praying for God’s mercy upon the souls of all our fallen defenders. He also reminded those present that honoring the heroes of Ukraine is an essential part of shaping national consciousness and unity.
