Master’s students specializing in Clinical Psychology at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University participated in a practical training session at the university’s Mental Health Center. They organized an engaging recreational event for the participants of the non-governmental organization “My World Center.”

This outreach activity became an integral part of the professional training of future clinical psychologists. Master’s students had the opportunity to work in a real social environment and apply their theoretical knowledge in practice.

The program of the meeting included elements aimed at socialization and adaptation, such as:
- group interactive games;
- physical activities and coordination development exercises;
- informal communication and shared refreshments.

According to the organizers, this interaction format helps students develop essential professional competencies, including therapeutic communication skills, empathetic listening, and an understanding of how to work with diverse client groups.

Such collaboration between specialized higher education institutions, medical centers, and the public sector reflects a humanistic approach to education. It not only enhances the quality of professional training in mental health but also contributes to the development of a more inclusive society in the region.
The co-organizers of the event noted that they plan to continue organizing similar integrative meetings.
