Webinar of the All-Ukrainian Research Competition of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the “Information Technology” Division within the Digi-CHange Project
On May 9, 2026, a webinar was held as part of the All-Ukrainian Research Competition and Defense of Scientific Projects for members of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the “Information Technology” division for the 2025–2026 academic year. The event aimed to prepare participants for the national competition and to promote the “Partnerships for Transformation in Higher Education – Digi-CHange” project under the Erasmus+ KA2 program.
The webinar was conducted under the leadership of Professor Andrii Sverstiuk, Professor of the Department of Medical Informatics at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University and coordinator of the Digi-CHange project.
During the webinar, several talented young researchers presented their innovative scientific projects:

Sviatoslav Vitko, a second-year student at Husiatyn Professional College of Ivan Puluj Ternopil National Technical University, presented the research project “Development of an Intelligent Semantic Search System for Documents ‘Librarian’ Using Local Language Models.” His academic supervisor is Olha Boiko, lecturer at Husiatyn Professional College.

Illia Shportak, a 10th-grade student at Zalishchyky State Gymnasium, presented the research project “CLIMINO – Indoor Microclimate Control.” His supervisor is Nataliia Hrushko, a teacher of mathematics and computer science at the gymnasium.

Vitalii Slivinskyi, also a second-year student at Husiatyn Professional College of Ivan Puluj Ternopil National Technical University, presented the project “Development of a Web Platform for Personalized Wish Lists to Optimize Gift Selection.” His academic supervisor is Roman Chaplinskyi, lecturer at the college.

Nazarii Tysh, an 11th-grade student at Ternopil Academic Lyceum “Ukrainian Gymnasium” named after Ivan Franko, introduced the research project “Creating a Messenger Based on the Invisible Internet Project.” His academic supervisor is Yevheniia Tysh, Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Systems and Networks at Ivan Puluj Ternopil National Technical University.

Introducing students of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, to the outcomes of this webinar within the framework of the Digi-CHange project, will help broaden their understanding of current digital transformations in healthcare and inspire future interdisciplinary innovation at the intersection of medicine and information technology.
