TNMU Dental Students Raise More Than UAH 120,000 to Support Ukraine’s Victory

On 1 October, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Defenders and Defendresses of Ukraine, the Day of Ukrainian Cossacks, and the Feast of the Protection of the Holy Virgin. To mark these occasions, students of the Dental Faculty took part in a charity fair.

As is traditional, the event began with a minute of silence to honour the memory of all those who lost their lives in the Russian-Ukrainian war, including graduates of the Dental Faculty, followed by the national anthem of Ukraine.

Once again, the Dental Faculty students demonstrated that they are not only the future elite of Ukrainian medicine but also people with enormous and compassionate hearts. United by a common goal, their team spirit, responsibility, and creativity turned the event into a true celebration of kindness and solidarity.

The fair was filled with vibrant colours and flavours – from authentic Ukrainian designs in the photo zone and other locations to the irresistible aromas of traditional dishes. Rich bograch stew, juicy shashlik, and homemade varenyky won the hearts of the guests.

The fair was filled with an uplifting atmosphere and positive energy that the students shared with every visitor.

But most importantly, the event brought an impressive collective result. Thanks to thorough preparation and dedicated work, the students managed to raise UAH 127,450 to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine!

Special thanks go to the staff of the Department of Pathological Physiology for their generous donation. It is worth noting that the department’s academic staff have supported the Dental Faculty’s charitable initiatives for several years in a row.

We are proud of each and every one of you.
