TNMU and Ternopil City Hospital No. 2 Sign Cooperation Agreement

On 13 October 2026, Ivan Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University and Ternopil Municipal City Hospital No. 2 signed an official cooperation agreement.

The agreement was signed by TNMU Rector, Professor Petro Lykhatskyi, and Rostyslav Levchuk, Director of the hospital.

The agreement provides for the systematic expansion of cooperation in several areas, including:

Utilising the facilities, technical resources, and diagnostic and treatment capabilities of City Hospital No. 2 to improve the quality of healthcare services for the population and support the professional development of future healthcare professionals.

Improving the practical training of students, interns and higher education students at the modern hospital.

Conducting joint research and practical studies, organising conferences, and introducing innovative developments into clinical practice.

Both parties emphasised that combining the efforts of a leading medical university and one of Ternopil’s major municipal healthcare institutions would contribute both to training highly qualified medical professionals and to the overall development of the city’s healthcare system.
