TNMU Joins the Event “Coins – for children”
Ternopil National Medical University joins the national charity event “Coins – for Children”, which takes place from 1st till 30th September 2021. The charity event was initiated by the Tabletochky Foundation, the National Bank of Ukraine and supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
This event intends to collecting 25 kopeck coins and making them a powerful financial aid for hundreds of children with cancer.
Coins with a face value of 25 kopecks went out of circulation almost a year ago, but many of us still have them in our vaults. Ukrainians keep 1.5 billion 25-kopeck coins. This is almost 400 million hryvnias. Every such forgotten penny is a step towards recovery for children with cancer.
Every charitable contribution is important because along with hundreds of others it will be a great help for children fighting with cancer.
The containers for collecting kopecks with a face value of 25 kopecks are placed in the administrative building of TNMU at the security post as well as in other university buildings.
