A nice gift for the Ternopil Regional Blood Service Centre
On May 5, 2022, Marta Rudenko, Head of TNMU Centre for Educational Work and Cultural Development, handed over a laptop to the Ternopil Regional Blood Service Centre, which was sent from the United States to automate the Centre’s work. Mr. James provided his own computer with licensed software and necessary accessories installed. He also enclosed a letter with a detailed description of the use of the laptop and indicated his contacts if any help was needed.

This device arrived at TNMU Volunteer Centre as part of a humanitarian consignment from the USA, sent by Oksana Tanasiv from Ternopil (née – Sydorko). The need for a laptop was told by volunteers who helped the Сentre’s staff with a large number of people willing to donate blood.

“We are still planning to buy a printer in order to optimize our work. All data on blood received from a donor will be entered into the appropriate program on a laptop and immediately printed on labels. This will greatly simplify the process itself, because before everything was done manually and took a long time. We are impressed by the help of the people of Ukraine and Ukrainians who live in different countries and who organize other people around them”, said Vira Monastyrska, Head of the donor centre.
