TNMU Expands Collaboration with Partners

Ternopil National Medical University continues its tradition of broadening partnerships with various institutions, healthcare facilities, and public organizations. A recent example is signing a cooperation agreement with the public organization “All-Ukrainian Association of Public Health Professionals.” The agreement was signed by TNMU Rector Mykhailo Korda and the Association’s Chair, Ruslan Savchuk.

The key areas of collaboration include:

  • Cooperation to establish partnerships at national and international levels, participation in international technical assistance competitions, development and training of higher education students in the “229 Public Health” educational-professional program, and implementation of educational and innovative projects in medicine.
  • Joint implementation of scientific research projects and developments addressing pressing medical science and practice issues.
  • Collaborative development of educational-professional programs.
  • Involvement of TNMU researchers in providing expert evaluations for the Association’s projects.
  • Participation of the Association in TNMU’s educational events.
  • Engagement of scientific personnel in continuous professional development activities organized by the Association.
  • Involvement of staff from both parties in delivering lectures, training sessions, seminars, and conferences to share experiences and best practices.

As part of this collaboration, TNMU and the Association are participating in an academic partnership program with universities in Philadelphia. Notably, Ruslan Savchuk, the Association’s Chair, is a TNMU’s Employers’ Council member.

We extend our gratitude to the Association for supporting the development of public health in Ukraine. We look forward to further joint efforts to strengthen and enhance the nation’s public health and workforce capacity.
