Cooperation of TNMU with Local Communities to Improve Medical Care Delivery

A working meeting took place between the Rector of TNMU, Professor Mykhaylo Korda, and the Vice-Rector for Science, Education, and Clinical Affairs, Professor Stepan Zaporozhan, with the Head of the Skoryky Rural Territorial Community, Ilko Stakhurskyi, and the Head of the Ambulatory Clinic, General Practitioner of Family Medicine, Sofiya Makhobey. The meeting focused on optimizing the provision of primary healthcare services.

With the support of Ternopil National Medical University, a dental office has been successfully operating in the ambulatory clinic of Skoryky village, providing comprehensive care to residents of Skoryky and surrounding villages. This initiative is overseen by the Head of the Dentistry Department at TNMU, Associate Professor Volodymyr Machohan.

It is planned to organize mobile multidisciplinary consultation teams composed of university faculty members to visit the Skoryky ambulatory clinic.
