TNMU Students Visited the Members of “L’Arche-Ternopil” NGO

On April 3, 2025, the participants of the “L’Arche-Ternopil” NGO, which unites people with intellectual disabilities and operates in Ternopil, warmly welcomed students and lecturers of Ternopil National Medical University.

The meeting began with a heartfelt introduction between the TNMU students, lecturers, and the members of “L’Arche-Ternopil.” Each participant introduced themselves and spoke about their interests.

Svitlana Bezpiatchuk gave an overview of the organization and shared the members’ daily schedules and leisure activities. She also invited the guests to the candle-making workshop, where the members—called “friends”—handcraft candles. The students and lecturers were impressed by the handmade items and purchased themed candles for the Easter holidays.

After exchanging warm greetings, students of groups MM-118, MM-121, and MM-120, along with lecturers Tetiana Khvalyboha, Nataliia Hantimurova, Ivanna Humenna, and Dymytrii Khvalyboha, joined the L’Arche friends in creating Easter decorations. The atmosphere in the room was exceptionally friendly and warm. Thanks to the joint efforts of the students, lecturers, and members of “L’Arche-Ternopil,” beautiful Easter decorations were created that will bring joy to the community throughout the holiday season.

The members of “L’Arche-Ternopil,” students, and lecturers had a wonderful time together and agreed to meet again soon.
