Spiritual Meetings with Students During Lent

In today’s world, where young people face daily challenges, inner struggles, and countless temptations, spiritual support becomes especially meaningful. This is why meetings between clergy and young people — including students from all faculties of Ternopil National Medical University — serve as an important source of inspiration, a compass in life, and an opportunity to deepen one’s relationship with God, especially during the Lenten season.

Throughout March and April, spiritual meetings were held in the reading hall of the TNMU library with the university chaplain, Father Ihor Drapak.

These gatherings were conducted in an informal, trusting atmosphere, where each participant had the opportunity to ask questions, share doubts, worries, or joys. Topics of discussion included the meaning of life, building a relationship with God in today’s world, discerning one’s vocation, the role of faith in everyday life, and real-life challenges such as relationships, studies, and service to others. In these conversations, Father Ihor acted not only as a spiritual guide but also as a friend and advisor.

These meetings left a profound impact on the hearts of the participants, becoming a starting point for inner transformation, the discovery of God’s love, and the realization of belonging to a greater spiritual family.
