Students of Ternopil National Medical University Joined the Eco-meeting “Chornobyl–40”
On April 22, on the eve of the anniversary of the Chornobyl disaster, second-year students of the Medical Faculty of I. Ya. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, Olena Dudkevych and Diana Nazarovets, took part in the eco-meeting “Chornobyl–40,” held at the Ternopil Regional Library for Youth.

As part of the event, they delivered an educational lecture for school pupils and university students, during which they clearly explained the medical and environmental consequences of the disaster, including the impact of radiation on the human body, the condition of the environment, and its effects on future generations. Particular emphasis was placed on fostering environmental awareness and a responsible attitude toward personal health and nature.

The meeting became not only an opportunity to recall the tragic pages of history, but also an important step in spreading knowledge among young people, especially school pupils, and in raising awareness of shared responsibility for the environmental future.
