Integration of Education and Science in the Field of Nursing

On April 27, 2026, a working meeting took place between representatives of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University and the leadership of Chortkiv Medical Professional College. The parties discussed a roadmap for enhanced cooperation to improve the standards of nursing education and training.

The dialogue involved TNMU Rector, Professor Petro Lykhatskyi; Deputy Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Nursing, Associate Professor Liudmyla Mazur; and Academic Program Guarantor of the “Nursing” program, Professor Mariia Marushchak. Together with the College Director, Liubomyr Bilyk, they identified priority projects for the near future.

One of the key steps will be the involvement of TNMU academic staff in the college’s educational process.

In addition, joint research initiatives in nursing are planned. This will enable faculty members and talented college students to integrate into large-scale scientific work and begin their own research at an early stage, even before higher education.
