Public Health in the Social and Educational Space—Challenges in the Context of Strengthening Cross-Sectoral Cooperation and Prospects for Development
Dear colleagues!
On September 24-25, 2026, I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, jointly with the Akkon University for Human Sciences, Berlin, and the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, will be holding the Eighth Scientific Symposium with International Participation “Public Health in the Social and Educational Space—Challenges in the Context of Strengthening Cross-Sectoral Cooperation and Prospects for Development” at TNMU.
Given the war in Ukraine and the extension of martial law in the fall of 2026, the Symposium is planned to be held online.
Symposium has filed for registration with the State Scientific and Technical Institution “Center for Educational Quality of the Ministry of Health” for the awarding of continuing professional development (CPD) credits, and with the State Scientific Institution “UINTEI.”

To participate in the symposium, please submit an application using the provided form and abstracts for publication in the symposium proceedings by September 10, 2026.
Articles will be published in the journal “Bulletin of Social Hygiene and Healthcare Organization of Ukraine” and are accepted in accordance with the terms of publication.
!!! To receive a certificate (as an attendee or presenter), participants must submit a presentation of their paper, register, and take the test on the day of the event, September 25, 2026, between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Number of questions: 10, number of attempts to take the test: 2.
!!! When registering, you must attach a receipt for payment of the abstract publication fee and/or the certificate fee (payments must be made separately).

FORMATTING REQUIREMENTS FOR PRINTED WORKS (ARTICLE/ABSTRACT)
Papers submitted for presentation at the symposium must not have been previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
Volume of materials for publication: articles—up to 12 pages; abstracts—up to 3 pages.
The text should be typed in MS Word, in A4 format with margins of 2 cm on all sides.
Formatting settings: Times New Roman font, font size 14, regular, line spacing—1.5.
The structure of the printed paper is as follows:
articles: UDC, title of the paper in capital letters, authors’ last names and initials, full name of the institution, facility, or organization, text (introduction, objective, materials and methods, research results and discussion, conclusions, prospects for further research), a list of scientific references in the order they appear in the text, formatted according to DSTU 2015 standards and including the DOI, and an abstract in Ukrainian and English of 1,800–2,500 characters (purpose, materials and methods, results, conclusions, keywords). Authors must also submit a reference list formatted according to APA (American Psychological Association) guidelines.
Abstract: title of the work (in uppercase letters), authors’ initials and last names, full name of the institution, introduction, main body, conclusions.
At the end of the printed paper, an author’s statement must be provided in Ukrainian and English: after leaving a few blank lines, indicate the last name, first name, patronymic, position, academic degree or academic title of the author(s), place of employment, email address, and ORCID; email address for correspondence.
All articles that meet the requirements (https://ojs.tdmu.edu.ua/index.php/visnyk-gigieny/requirements, https://ojs.tdmu.edu.ua/index.php/visnyk-gigieny/conditions) will be published in the journal “Bulletin of Social Hygiene and Healthcare Organization of Ukraine.”
PUBLICATION FEE FOR AN ARTICLE UP TO 12 PAGES – 1,200 UAH.
