TNMU Educational and Research Institute of Pharmacy Welcomes a New Generation of Future Pharmacists

On August 30, 2026, Ternopil National Medical University held a ceremonial matriculation for new students of the Educational and Research Institute of Pharmacy. This day marked not simply the beginning of their studies, but the first step towards mastering an exceptionally responsible and noble mission. The pharmacy profession is a vital link in the healthcare system, as the knowledge, accuracy, and conscientiousness of these professionals determine the quality of medicines, patient safety, and, ultimately, the preservation of human life.

In his welcoming address, Dmytro Korobko, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Pharmacy, emphasized the importance of this choice. He spoke to the first-year students about the specifics of mastering complex pharmaceutical disciplines, the high ethical standards of the profession, and the broad opportunities for professional development – from compounding medicines in pharmacies to scientific research and the pharmaceutical industry.

The culmination of the celebration was the traditional Student Oath. The students pledged to uphold the principles of professional integrity and study diligently for the sake of public health. They were also presented with practical skills matriculae – personal records documenting their professional growth as future highly qualified specialists.
