Young TSMU scientists took part in an international conference in Poland

Assistant professor of Ternopil State Medical University Department Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology Krystyna Kurylo and fourth year students of The Faculty of Medicine Kateryna Halei, Ihor Stetsiuk, and Bohdan Korylchuk took part in the VII international conference of students and young scientists in Wroclaw Medical University ( Poland) to discuss current issues in medicine and pharmacy.

Conference participants reviewed reports and presentations on current topics in plenary and sectional sessions, and attended workshops.

The young scientists from Ternopil State Medical University presented at the conference five research projects, including two poster presentations.

The conference organizers organized a tour of the university and its structural units, during which they talked about teaching approaches used in the school and the latest learning technologies.

Taking part in the international conference of students and young scientists allowed our scholars to discuss current issues in the field of medicine and pharmacy, and learn about advanced research methods.

Wroclaw Medical University is one of the most prominent public health universities in Poland; it was founded in 1950, and since then it graduated more than 16,000 doctors and nearly 5,000 dentists.

The University has five faculties: medical, dental, pharmacy, public health and continuous education. The total number of university clinic branches is 164.
