TNMU Volunteer Centre Received Aid from Elbląg
On June 3, 2022, the Volunteer Centre of the I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University received 100 kg of medical supplies from the Voivodeship Hospital in Elbląg. Logistics was provided by Olha Pleshkaniova.

The humanitarian consignment included a large number of anti-burn bandages, catheters, plaster casts, and intravenous catheters.

This program was brought to TNMU by Richard Wilson, Kevin Raison, and Vivek Chaturvedi. They are citizens of the United States and Poland, but have been volunteering in Ukraine since the beginning of the war. Kevin and Richard started The Sunflower Project (USA). Vivek became their partner in a subsidiary in Poland. With the help of the project, the men are raising funds to purchase fuel in order to deliver humanitarian goods from Poland to all cities of Ukraine in a timely manner. Today, Poland has become a major humanitarian hub, where concerned people send aid to Ukraine. (More about The Sunflower Project can be seen here: https://www.bluestarsunflower.org/). We truly thank these brave men for their work.
We express our deepest appreciation to the doctors at Elbląg Hospital for their help. All medical supplies will be transferred to the military hospitals and medical departments of military units.
