TNMU Volunteer Centre Received Humanitarian Aid from the Polish City of Opole
On April 8, 2022, the TNMU Volunteer Centre received from the Vice-President of the International Student Association Agnieszka Grobelczyk (IFMSA-Poland Opole Local Committee), Bartłomiej Lepczyński, Dagmara Mroz and the team of TNMU students 45 kg of medical supplies. The students collected and passed over medicines to Associate Professor of the Department of Paediatrics №2 Victoria Furdela.

“I would like to thank our students from Poland, who gladly responded to the call to help insulin-dependent children in the Ternopil region with much-needed dialysis supplies, as well as soldiers who defend our land. Our students, like bees, are purchasing and collecting goods, searching for patrons, volunteers and other caring people to bring closer our victory!” said Victoria Furdela.

Glucometers are given to children with diabetes in the Ternopil region, medicines for babies are donated to the Neonatal Department of Ternopil Regional Children’s Hospital, and medicines, intravenous catheters KD-FIX, dressings, disposable medical clothing, masks, sterile surgical gloves and other essential goods were handed over to the Volunteer Centre of TNMU, where everything will be distributed according to the requests of our defenders and military hospitals.
