Round Table Discussion “Students in the Science of Today”
Engaging students in the research work is an essential component of the educational process, an important factor in the training of highly qualified specialists and covers two interrelated aspects: teaching students the elements of research activity, organization and methods of scientific work, and scientific research carried out by students under the supervision of professors and teachers. The main form of students’ research activity at the university is student scientific society. Through its activities, the society contributes to raising the level of students’ scientific training; forms a conscious attitude to learning; deepens the knowledge obtained in the process of studying academic disciplines; gives practical experience; contributes to the development of independence, increasing internal organization.
On May 11, 2023, a festive meeting of the student scientific society of TNMU Department of Dental Therapy was held on the occasion of summarizing the results of activities, awarding students who won scientific forums and outlining future prospects.
The Head of the Department of Dental Therapy – Professor Mykhailo Luchynskyi and the Curator of the Student Scientific Society – Assistant Professor of the Department Mariana Levkiv addressed the students with a welcoming speech.

Summarizing the results of the activities of the student scientific society of the Department of Dental Therapy.
Summarizing the achievements of the scientific society of the Department during the academic year, it is worth noting that the acquaintance of students with real science took place. An innovative and interesting format – the round table – provided an opportunity for a new perspective on optimizing quality communication between students and teachers. It was difficult, but interesting and instructive!
There are very interesting creative ideas in the plans for the future, therefore, after successfully passing the exams, the members of the student scientific society of the department plan, together with the teachers, to continue working in the directions of the chosen topics and replenish the treasury of scientific achievements at conferences and forums!
