On October 6-7 Ternopil State Medical University held national conference “Potential for developing medical and physical rehabilitation at different levels of care”.
Vice-rector for research, academic and clinical affairs, Professor Stepan Zaporozhan greeted the participants on behalf of Ternopil State Medical University rector, Professor Mykhaylo Korda, and wished those present successful and fruitful work during the meeting. In his remarks he drew attention to the fact that health care in both the world and Ukraine is increasingly focused on physical rehabilitation.
Professor of Kharkiv Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education Olha Nechypurenko talked about the use of physical therapy in the complex of preventative measures for children with bronchitis in the resort clinics of Kharkiv region.
Professor of Donetsk National Medical University Valerii Sokrut opened the first plenary session with his presentation “Problems of comorbidity in medical rehabilitation”.
Ternopil State Medical University Professor Svitlana Smiyan gave a talk on rehabilitation activities in osteoarthritis, their shortcomings and prospects.
Ternopil State Medical University Professor Ihor Hospodarskyi gave a presentation “On current features immune rehabilitation of chronic tonsillitis”.
Ternopil State Medical University professor Oksana Boyarchuk gave her analysis of an integrated approach to the rehabilitation of children with gastroenterological pathology.
Experts from Odessa, chief researcher of DP UNDI “Medical transport”, head of the clinical department of medical rehabilitation Oksana Horsha and orthopedic surgeon of the city children’s clinic Valeriya Aplevych presented a report “Biochemical and clinical aspects of kinezio typing in rehabilitation treatment of high school aged children “.
Conference participants also heard and discussed a number of reports during the second plenary session.
