Associate Professor of the Medical Informatics Department Took Part in the Erasmus+ Training.
From August 26 to September 6, 2024, Associate Professor of the Medical Informatics Department Andrii Semenets trained at the Computer Sciences and Automation Department of the University of Bielsko-Biała (Poland) as part of the Erasmus+ project “Transfer Model of Education – the Best Choice for Training IT Business Leaders” (TransLeader).
As part of the work package 3 of this project, named “Setting up an AI and IoT Curriculum Structure Related to Modern Industry,” implementing activities A3.4, A3.5 – “Educational Activities as Part of the TransLeader Project,” on September 3, 2024, during a meeting at the Computer Sciences and Automation Department of the University of Bielsko-Biała (Poland) Associate Professor Andrii Semenets presented advanced methods of the university’s distance learning based on the MOODLE system. This meeting was part of the Erasmus+ project.

Associate Professor Semenets introduced the experience of using the distance learning system based on LMS MOODLE at Ternopil National Medical University. The historical and technical aspects of the LMS Moodle introduction, such as the construction and management of a network cluster, clustering, optimization of the LMS Moodle virtual servers settings, and the issue of developing additional software components – plugins – for LMS Moodle were discussed.



Andrii Semenets got acquainted with the educational laboratories of the Computer Science and Automation Department of the University of Bielsko-Biała, particularly 3-D modeling and robotic technology.



In addition, on September 4, Andrii Semenets, at the invitation of the Head of the Computer Sciences and Automation Department, Prof. Dr hab. Vasyl Martseniuk attended the conference “II Konferencja Sojuszy Uniwersytetów Europejskich” in Krakow (Poland), which was organized by the FRSE agency (https://www.frse.org.pl/) for the development of European cooperation as part of Erasmus+ projects.
