Young Scholars of the Junior Academy of Sciences Explore TNMU’s Simulation Training Center
On November 4, 2024, students of the Junior Academy of Sciences, accompanied by the biology instructor, Associate Professor Iryna Pryvrotska from the Department of Medical Biology, visited the Simulation Training Center at Ternopil National Medical University.

During the visit, the students explored the center’s state-of-the-art educational facilities, equipped with simulators and training devices. These technologies allow medical students to practice hands-on skills in simulation scenarios using mannequins and develop essential non-technical skills such as communication and task management.

Guided by Antonina Chervatyuk, an assistant at the Department of Emergency and Simulation Medicine, the students could engage with simulators and mannequins that replicate the normal and pathological functioning of various human organs and systems.
The participants also reviewed the basics of first aid and practiced assisting with the supervision of the center’s staff. This interactive experience offered the young scholars a glimpse into the world of medical professionals and the innovative approaches used to train future healthcare workers.
