Working Group Members Promoted the PhD Program in Nursing
To further promote the educational and scientific program in the specialty “Nursing,” on November 20, 2024, a presentation “How to Enhance the Appeal of a PhD in Nursing” was delivered by program guarantor Mariia Marushchak and working group member Lyudmyla Mazur. The presentation took place at the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern Nursing: Realities and Challenges” held at Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University and was attended by over a hundred nurses, midwives, paramedics, and medical assistants.

The working group has already conducted a series of presentations on postgraduate studies in Nursing for prospective applicants.
Mariia Marushchak highlighted the critical milestones in developing the PhD program at the university, the challenges faced by the working group during different stages of its establishment, and the obstacles encountered in encouraging nurses to enroll in the third-level higher education program. She also shared strategies and methods that enabled five program graduates to earn their PhD degrees successfully within the designated timeframe.

Lyudmyla Mazur gave participants details about the admission process, including key recommendations and requirements for applying to the PhD program. She also presented the main advantages of this program, such as its educational environment, qualified faculty, and research component.
