TNMU Strengthens Cooperation with the Ternopil Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention

At the initiative of the administration of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, an interdepartmental meeting took place on March 20, 2025, between TNMU researchers and specialists from the Ternopil Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

The center’s general director and chief state sanitary doctor of the Ternopil region, Oksana Chaichuk, spoke about the center’s capabilities. She emphasized the importance of coordinating efforts to continuously improve healthcare for the Ternopil region’s residents.

Experts from the Ternopil Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention—Deputy General Director for Quality Management System Implementation Yuliia Kravchuk, Head of the Epidemiological Surveillance and Infectious Disease Prevention Department Svitlana Matsipura, and Head of the Immunoprophylaxis Department Mariia Pavelyeva—provided TNMU researchers with comprehensive information about the work of specialized laboratories, their equipment, and capabilities. They also proposed areas for joint scientific research.
