Students of Chemerivtsi Medical Professional College Spent a Day at TNMU
On March 25, 2024, students from Chemerivtsi Medical Professional College (Khmelnytskyi region) visited Ternopil National Medical University to understand medical specialties better.

The Vice-Rector for Research at TNMU, Professor Ivan Klishch, welcomed the visitors with an opening address.

Ihor Drach, Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee, spoke about the university’s academic programs and admission requirements for 2025.


The guests visited the Institute of Morphology, where they got acquainted with the educational and material base of the departments and had the opportunity to communicate directly with faculty members and TNMU students.

The students learned about the structure and departments of the Institute of Morphology. They were invited to tour the lecture halls and study rooms of the Department of Histology and Embryology. They received an overview of the courses taught at the department and even had a chance to examine histological specimens themselves. They also visited the morphological sector of the Interdepartmental Educational and Scientific Laboratory Center.

Representatives of the Department of Pathological Anatomy with Autopsy Course and Forensic Medicine prepared and led a tour of the departmental museum of macroscopic specimens.

Lecturers of the Department of Human Anatomy focused the visitors’ attention on the organization of the educational process, which actively incorporates modern technologies. They also explained the forms of ongoing and final assessments of higher education students. The visitors toured the departmental museum, where they observed anatomical exhibits and received comprehensive answers to their questions about specific specimens and the role of anatomical science in the training of successful medical practitioners.
In addition, the Chemerivtsi Medical Professional College students had a very positive experience visiting the Simulation Training Center.
