Emotional Competence Workshop for Paramedic Students at TNMU

On May 7, 2025, as part of the “Mental Health Awareness Month” initiative, a psychoeducational session on emotional competence was conducted by psychologist Tetiana Husieva for paramedic students of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University.

During the session, participants learned to listen to their emotions, explored their own effective and safe ways of experiencing complex feelings, and shared insightful reflections at the end of the meeting.

It was emphasized that there are no “good” or “bad” emotions. Each emotion has its purpose, and the ability to recognize and understand them is key to emotional competence and mental health. People who possess this skill are less likely to experience anxiety, depression, or burnout.
