Together to Victory: Kind Hands of the Rear for the Brave Hearts at the Front

In a time of great national unity, when every gesture of support carries deep meaning, the faculty and students of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University stand in solidarity. Every day, they prove that good deeds can warm not only the heart but also give strength to those on the front lines.

Each year before Easter, Ukrainians from all corners of the world strive to send a piece of home warmth to our defenders. The faculty of the Department of Foreign Languages at I. Horbachevsky TNMU have repeatedly delivered supplies to the soldiers of the 105th Separate Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of Ukraine, the 83rd Battalion.

 At the initiative of the Head of the Department, Professor Nadiia Fedchyshyn, in April 2025, some food, meals, meat products, energy bars, and homemade pastries — all made by the department’s staff — were again delivered to our defenders serving in the eastern direction.

The students had previously collected funds, purchased treats, hygiene products, and necessary items to deliver them to the military — along with something even more important: sincere words of gratitude and support. The meeting was filled with compassion, warmth, and mutual appreciation. Students and soldiers shared their experiences, spoke about the value of life, their belief in victory, and the power of kindness that can overcome even the most difficult trials.

We sincerely thank our students and faculty for their humanity, initiative, and empathy. Together – we are strength. And together – we will surely win.
