TNMU Medical Team Visit to the “Family Medicine General Practice Outpatient Clinic”

On May 14, 2025, a TNMU medical team visited the “Family Medicine General Practice Outpatient Clinic” in Skoryky village, Ternopil region, to provide consultations and conduct specialized in-depth examinations of children.

By order of the Rector, a university team was established for this purpose, composed of:

• Tetiana Vorontsova – Associate Professor of the Department of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery

Team Members:

Olha Buchko – First-year intern of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Ophthalmology, and Neurosurgery

Svitlana Levenets – Associate Professor of the Department of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery

Mykhailo Protsailo – Associate Professor of the Department of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery

Ihor Krytskyi – Associate Professor of the Department of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery

Roman Nasalyk – Assistant at the Department of Neurology

During the visit, 48 children were examined. Of them, 5 were referred to hospital care (1 child with mental disorders, 3 children with ENT pathologies, and 1 child with intestinal pathology).

Thirty children received consultations and were prescribed outpatient treatment; the rest were found to be healthy.

The next visit of TNMU specialists to the Skoryky Lyceum of the Skoryky Village Council in Ternopil Region is planned for autumn 2025.
