Representatives of the Romanian Charity Organization “Johanniter Mission Siret” Visited TNMU

On June 4, 2025, representatives of the Romanian charitable organization “Johanniter Mission Siret” visited I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University. The delegation included volunteers from different countries, namely Anna-Maria Maidaniuc (Romania), Bennet Conrads (Germany), Nicola Hinnaja (Italy), Max Pelz (Germany), and Jonathan Neumann (Germany). They met with the Rector of TNMU, Professor Mykhailo Korda.

Anna-Maria Maidaniuc spoke about the activities of “Johanniter Mission Siret” and the work that has been accomplished over the past three years.

In turn, Professor Korda acquainted the guests with the university’s volunteer initiatives, support provided to hospitals and military medical facilities during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, and the training of civilians in basic premedical care and of military medics in tactical medicine.

The representatives of “Johanniter Mission Siret” donated equipment to TNMU, specifically a patient monitor.
