A Competitive Selection of TNMU Students for Participation in the University of Manchester Summer Schools in Medicine
As part of the twinning partnership with the University of Manchester, particularly with the Faculty of Biology, Medicine, and Health, five medical students from TNMU have the opportunity to take part in the University of Manchester’s summer schools in medicine.
This year, based on the results of the competitive selection process, fourth-year students were chosen. The top results were achieved by Sofiia Huk, Viktoriia Zavyslianska, Sofiia Nepeliak, Uliana Poberezhnyk, and Khrystyna Filvarska. The selection criteria included academic performance, fluency in English, and participation in other activities.

The TNMU-UoM English Speaking Club is also operating successfully, attended by 1st–6th year students from the “Medicine,” “Dentistry,” and “Nursing” programs, including paramedics and students of the University of Manchester’s medical school. The conversation club will resume its activity in the autumn. From the British side, the club is supervised by Dr. Steven Thomson.
We sincerely thank Professor Margaret Kingston, Director of Undergraduate Medical Studies, Keith Brennan, Vice Dean for Internationalisation, Dr. Silke Conen, and Professor Jess Grundy for their cooperation and support.
