TNMU Students Took Part in the “Know Your Blood Type” Campaign

On August 10, 2025, at Theater Square, the Ternopil Regional Blood Service Center, together with I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University and the Serhiy Konoval Foundation NGO, organized the “Know Your Blood Type” campaign. The NGO I Am a Donor joined the information outreach to ensure that as many people as possible learned about the importance of blood donation.

Experienced specialists from the Ternopil Regional Blood Service Center, Olha Korkina and Lesia Shchur, conducted express testing, while volunteers — TNMU students Viktoriia Miroshnyk, Sofiia Berehuliak, Yuliia Kharkhalis, Nazarii Krulyk, Oleksandr Khoma, and Anatolii Sakalo — spoke about the importance of blood donation and invited people to participate in a group blood donation on City Day.

Residents and guests of Ternopil approached the tent to have their blood type and Rh factor determined free of charge.
