Enrollment of State-Funded Students at TNMU
The ceremonial meeting of the Admissions Committee of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University took place on August 11, 2025, with the purpose of enrolling this year’s applicants into state-funded and fee-paying study programs.

The Chair of the Admissions Committee, Rector of TNMU, Professor Mykhailo Korda, proposed enrolling in the first year under state-funded programs 250 students in the specialty “Medicine,” 9 in “Dentistry,” 5 in “Pharmacy,” 19 in “Paramedic,” 4 in “Nursing,” and 60 in “Therapy and Rehabilitation.”

In addition, 24 students were enrolled in the second year in the specialty “Medicine,” and 10 in “Therapy and Rehabilitation.”

Overall, the fulfillment of the state quota reached 93%, which is the second-highest indicator in Ukraine. A total of 381 people took the opportunity to receive a high-quality medical education at TNMU funded by the state budget.
On the same day, students were also enrolled in the fee-paying form of study for the first and second years, including 20 in “Medicine,” 123 in “Dentistry,” 4 in “Pharmacy,” 25 in “Paramedic,” 40 in “Nursing,” 37 in “Clinical Psychology,” and 15 in “Therapy and Rehabilitation.” In total, 264 students chose the fee-paying form of study.
Thus, the TNMU student community was joined by 645 new students.
The Admissions Committee reminds that the submission of documents for fee-paying study will continue until August 18, 2025.
Applications for master’s programs are also being accepted until August 25.
