“How to Act in a Critical Moment” – LIFESTRAND Training for Young Participants of a Christian Camp
On August 14, 2025, at the children’s Christian camp “Lifeguard” (Hrymailiv village, Ternopil region), during the Career Day, medical students of Ternopil National Medical University – Dina Shozda (co-organizer of the camp) and Nadiia Nikulina – shared with children their knowledge about the medical profession and conducted a practical training as part of the Lifestrand project within the ERASMUS+ program.

Eight cadets took part in the event. Under the guidance of junior trainers of the project, they mastered basic first aid skills, including:
- controlling critical bleeding;
- basic life support using an Ambu bag and AED (automated external defibrillator);
- immobilization of injured limbs;
- application of the Ambu bag and AED (automated external defibrillator).
The participants not only learned more about medicine but also gained hands-on experience that may one day become crucial in a critical situation.
