Solemn Matriculation Ceremony at the Educational and Research Institute of Nursing of TNMU
The matriculation ceremony is one of the most important and anticipated events in the life of first-year students. At Ternopil National Medical University, a traditional ceremony was held to welcome future nurses and paramedics into the student family.

This day marked the symbolic beginning of the professional journey for those who chose the challenging yet honorable mission of serving people, preserving, and saving lives. During the ceremony, words of greeting were delivered by the Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Nursing and the coordinators of the educational programs. They emphasized that the profession of a nurse and a paramedic requires not only solid knowledge and practical skills but also a big heart, humanity, and dedication to one’s vocation.

The freshmen took the solemn student oath, promising to study diligently, adhere to ethical principles, and honorably bear the title of a student of Ternopil National Medical University. A symbolic highlight of this new stage was the ceremonial presentation of practical skills matriculation books to all first-year students.

Group mentors, represented by senior students of the university, met their mentees during the ceremony. They will act as guides in student life: helping first-year students adapt to the new educational environment, clarifying organizational aspects of the learning process, and supporting them in daily student matters. Through their own academic and extracurricular experience, the mentors will become not only advisors but also true friends, helping the newcomers feel part of the large academic family.

From now on, a new generation of future professionals has joined the university community that nurtures specialists with strong moral values and a readiness to work for the health and well-being of people.
