Excursion of City Schoolchildren to the Simulation Training Center of TNMU
On October 7, 2025, the 6th-grade students of Ternopil Specialized Secondary School No. 5 with advanced study of foreign languages, accompanied by their class teacher Halyna Samuliak and representatives of the parent community, visited the Simulation Training Center of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University.

During the tour, the visitors learned how future doctors and paramedics practice their practical skills on modern manikins and simulators that closely reproduce real clinical situations.

Under the guidance of the center’s specialists, the students tried to find a pulse on a manikin, listen to its breathing, perform chest compressions during basic resuscitation procedures, and also saw what the simulation emergency care rooms look like.

The young guests listened with great interest to the explanations provided by the center’s specialists and actively asked questions about studying at the medical university.

The excursion was conducted by the head of the Simulation Training Center, Antonina Chervatiuk, and specialists Valerii Zhyzhnomirskyi, Pavlo Davybida, Andrii Shpak, and Sofiia Huk.
